My Experiences at Extreme Faith Camp over the years

“Without my experiences at Extreme Faith Camp, I would not have the relationship with God that I have today, and I would be an entirely different person. EFC changed my life for the better in multiple ways over the years.

My first year at camp was in seventh grade, and I didn’t know many people. The few that I did know were in a different cabin and small group, so I tried to get to know new people. I also went to confession for the first time since my first communion, and learned what Adoration was when I went for the first time. I learned how to pray, I actually began to understand the faith, and I met some of my best friends. The most important part; I loved every minute of it… ” Click below to read more!

Discipleship Groups: What all Parents need to know!

Belonging.

This is the #1 reason why young people join and leave churches. We all have a desire to be known, to belong, to be safe and to be loved. This is exactly what Discipleship Groups aim to fulfill as the foundation for a life-long journey growing and learning about what it means to be a Catholic Christian in today’s crazy world.

    If you are already in a D-Group, don’t forget to register for the new school year!

  • has it been a while since you have been to D-Group? Text or email your D-Group leader (or Ruth)! They will be thrilled to hear from you! Honest. You are loved.

  • Mark your calendars for the High School D-Group Kick-off Night! Sunday, September 22nd following the 6pm Mass! 7:15-9pm @ St. Michael Church!

Summer Events

  • All teens and young adults ages 14+ are invited to a evening session and bonfire and snacks with Father Joe, the Franciscan Brothers of Peace and the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia! TOMORROW, Tuesday, July 2nd after 6:30pm Mass at St. Michael. No RSVPs needed, just show up!



  • Don’t miss the 2019 Extreme Faith Camp Reunion! Sunday, July 28th 5-9pm @ St. Michael Church. RSVP online here!

Changes in Youth Ministry Staff

Welcome, Gabby Swift, to our youth ministry staff! Gabby is the third full-time staff member to join our youth ministry team and we are so excited to have her on board as our new St. Albert’s youth minister!

Ruth Gladitsch will still be around… she will be moving to oversee youth Discipleship Groups and continue to be involved in the Youth Ministry Scene!

John O’Sullivan will continue being awesome in his role as the St. Michael Youth Minister!

We are saying goodbye to Janet Welter, who will stay at St. Albert and will be working for St. Albert full-time and no longer work with youth ministry. We love you and will miss you, Janet! Thank you for all the amazing work you did!

Just for leaders…

D-Group Leaders:

1) We still need three more women and four more men to join our team to lead a D-group this year! Please invite those you know who would be willing to join this amazing ministry!

2) Mark your calendars for the Mandatory D-Group Leader Orientation for all new and returning D-Group leaders!
