Human Trafficking of Youth
in our community:
It affects us all
All teens ages 13-18, parents and young adults are invited to join our high school Core Team in welcoming Cherie Lindman from Terebinth Refuge Women’s Shelter, a home and transitional shelter for young women escaping lives of trafficking. Come to hear about the very real threat that Trafficking poses to our young people and discover resources and tips to recognize warning signs in your friends and peers.
Most trafficked teens only exhibit warning signs or share concerning information with their peers, not parents or trusted adults. We want to equip our young people to recognize these signs and intervene before it is too late.
Sunday, March 24th 7:30-9pm St. Michael Catholic Church.

The cost of the event is free. A $20 freewill donation per family is encouraged; all donations will be given directly to Terebinth Refuge Shelter. For more information about their wonderful organization, please visit their website: www.terebinthrefuge.org

Notes on the content
The presentation will be age-appropriate for high school youth, but will not shy away from discussing and addressing the traumatic realities of human sex trafficking in our community and greater Minnesota. Parents are encouraged to attend with their younger teens.
